EXCHANGE OF OPINIONS IN THE AREA OF LEGISLATION IN MACEDONIA AND SERBIA

The Legislative Committee and the Parliamentary Group from the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliament of the Republic of Serbia had meetings with the Delegation of the Legislative Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. 

The Chair of the Legislative Committee, Ms. Blagorodna Dulik and the members of the Committee informed the gusts on the work of the Committee and the Assembly: the functioning of the E-parliament, the work of the Parliamentary TV Channel, which broadcasts the Meetings of the Committees and the recent establishment of the Parliamentary Institute of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia. 
The topics of the meeting, inter alia, were: the procedure of review of laws and other acts and their harmonization with the Constitution and the laws, the single legal and technical procedure of the acts adopted by the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, the authentic interpretation and the cooperation with the Constitutional Court.

The participants underlined the differences and similarities in the systems of the countries  and stated that the exchange of opinions will provide the countries opportunity to implement the efficient procedures. 

Mr. Dragisha Miletik, Chair of the Parliamentary Group from the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliament of the Republic of Serbia and the Members of the Group expressed their pleasure for the meeting and the opportunity to exchange experiences with the Serbian Parliament in the area of legislation, as well as hope that this cooperation will continue in the future.

The participants discussed the area of economy, culture, historic connections between the both states, underlining the similarities as multiethnic and multicultural societies, whose goal is to integrate in the European family as soon as possible.
