THE ECONOMIC COOPERATION - PRIORITY IN THE RELATIONS AMONG MACEDONIA AND ARGENTINA

The members of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliaments of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean met with H.E. Mr. Guillermo Salvador Azrak, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic to the Republic of Macedonia, Resident in Sofia.

The meeting took place a day before the Seminar that will be held in the Chambers of Commerce of the Republic of Macedonia, where the Macedonian business community will be informed about the possibilities for economic cooperation between Macedonia and Argentina. H.E. Mr. Guillermo Salvador Azrak informed the Macedonian parliamentarians that the presentation will be focused on the conditions for doing business in Argentina, the main industrial sectors, and the priorities of the national economy.

A joint project in the field of preschool education was proposed with the aim of increasing the knowledge about the two countries among the children. The Argentine Ambassador welcomed the proposal and expressed his readiness for cooperation.

The Chairperson of the Parliamentary Group for Cooperation, Mr. Vasko Pašovski, and the members of the Group Ms. Suzana Anova, Ms. Cvetanka Ivanova, and Ms. Sonja Mirakovska expressed appreciation for the consistent use of the constitutional name of the Republic of Macedonia by the authorities of Argentina.

The Ambassador of Argentina said that he was pleased that a Parliamentary Group for Cooperation with the Parliaments of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean has been established by the Macedonian Assembly, and expressed hope that this will enable intensification of the cooperation between the two Parliaments and countries.
