MEETING OF PRESIDENT XHAFERI WITH MR. DENIS ZVIZDIC, CHAIRMAN OF THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF BIH
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi regarded today's meeting with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Denis Zvizdic as a continuation of the good and friendly cooperation between the two countries and welcomed today's signing of the Agreements between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a prerequisite for a stronger and more comprehensive cooperation in many areas.
President Xhaferi shared with his guest his conviction that the ratification of these agreements in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia will proceed without any problem, because the adoption of these agreements is primarily in the benefit and mutual interest of the citizens of both friendly countries.
In addition, the President of the Assembly underlined that he is strongly focused on his duty and in the direction of intensification of the parliamentary cooperation he has sent an invitation to the counterparts of both chambers of the Parliamentary Assembly of BIH to visit the Republic of Macedonia this year, in a convenient period according to their agenda.
President Xhaferi emphasized the fact that the Republic of Macedonia after the end of the political crisis is strongly focused towards the Euro-Atlantic integrations and in this regard expressed optimism in the expectation of moving towards finding an acceptable solution to the name dispute with the Republic of Greece and a positive and unconditioned report from Brussels on the progress of the Republic of Macedonia.
The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH, Mr. Denis Zvizdic expressed his appreciation for the meeting with the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and the hospitality in our country, and gladly stated that the relations between two countries are constantly progressing and precisely the today's signing of the Agreements between both countries is a real indicator of the cooperation on which both countries are dedicated to.
The distinguished guest from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the meeting underlined the necessity of strengthening the economic cooperation and the necessity of airline connection between Skopje and Sarajevo to facilitate the communication in the framework of business community on both sides.
Also, Mr. Zvizdic pointed to the two countries as an example of good cooperation in many areas in the region and stressed that EU is the best alternative for our countries in the Balkans, and in this regard underlined the high support by BIH citizens for the EU integration.
At the end of the meeting, the two interlocutors agreed that they will continue to cooperate towards EU integration and will continue to be an example in the region.
