SEECP PA opens on-line youth essay competition
On 1st December 2015 the South-East European Cooperation Process Parliamentary Assembly (SEECP PA) is launching Regional youth essay writing competition “Young People from South-Eastern Europe for the Prosperity of the Region”.
The Competition is one of the events that will mark the 20th Anniversary of the SEECP which was established in 1996 in Sofia at a meeting of foreign ministers from the region. The winners will be awarded at a special ceremony during the Annual Session of SEECP PA in June 2016 in Sofia.
The essay competition is open for young people aged up to 29 years from all South-East European countries. All the participants shall register at the competition website www.competition.rspcsee.org and up-load their essays not later then 31 March 2016. Essays should be written in English.
An International Jury will be composed on the basis of nominations made by SEECP PA parliaments. Members of the Jury will be nominated among Members of Parliament involved in the field of youth activities, education and culture, high-profile public figures, opinion leaders, university professors, journalists.
The competition is organized by the Bulgarian Parliament holding the rotational Chairmanship-in-office of the South-East European Cooperation Process Parliamentary Assembly (SEECP PA) with active support of SEECP PA member parliaments.
