H.E. Ms. Gudrun Steinacker - Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Antonijo Milošoski - Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Germany, and the scholarship students of the IPS Project: Ms. Katerina Bakalova, Mr. Sašo Andreevski and Ms. Violeta Risteska, attended the meeting. 

The President Veljanoski, wishing the Ambassador successful mandate, underlined that there are no open issues between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Romania, which is a good basis for the development of the bilateral relations in every area

The National Council for European Integration and the Committee on European Issues today held their third joint meeting during which they discussed the National Program for Adoption of the Acquis (NPAA) revision 2012

On 2 February 2012 the Committee on Labour and Social Policy of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia held a public debate on the topic: “The legislation on children in conflict with the law, children victims and children witnesses of crimes”.

From 30 January until 3 February a Delegation of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, composed of the MPs: Mr. Vladimir Gjorčev, Mr. Jani Makraduli, and Mr. Nexhati Jakupi, is visiting the United States of America.

MPs from various political groups participated in the IPA-TAP (Technical Assistance to Parliament seminar about the challenges for the National Parliament in the EU accession process.

Today the Committee on Relations among the Communities held its third Meeting on the topic: “The current situation in light of the latest developments and their effect on the inter-ethnic and inter-religious relations in the Republic of Macedonia”.
