ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF NORTH MACEDONIA

Committee for Marking Anniversaries of Important Events and People

The Committee for Marking Anniversaries of Important Events and Persons has a Chairperson and eight members from among the members of parliament of the Assembly and three members of the scientific and expert cadre.

The Committee:

- decides on anniversaries of events and persons of outstanding importance for national and legal development of the Republic, promotion of the historical and cultural heritage and fostering general civilization values;

- building up and enrichement of the established traditions for marking important events and persons and historical treasure of the Macedonian nation and the nationalities;

- methods and forms for marking important events and persons;

- activities of special boards set up for marking particular occasions, and

- other questions regarding anniversaries and important events and persons.
