Committee on Euro-Atlantic Integration

The Committee on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration has a Chairperson and members. The Committee is chaired by the President of the Assembly. Members of the Committee include the Vice-Presidents of the Assembly, Coordinators of parliamentary groups, H

The Committee does the following:

- considers issues regarding the European and Euro-Atlantic integration and inclusion of the Republic of Macedonia in these integration;

- harmonizes views about parliamentary activities with regard to the key issues related to the integration processes in the European and Euro-Atlantic structures;

- makes assessment of the realized and raises initiatives for future activities related to these relations;

- carries out activities for approximation of the legislation of the Republic of Macedonia with the legislation of the European Union and with the acts of the international organizations to which the Republic of Macedonia is a member;

- builds positions for appearance of representatives of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia in international organizations and institutions regarding the European and Euro-Atlantic integration;

- initiates consideration of issues by the working bodies of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia;

- other questions regarding the approximation of the parliamentary activities related to the European and Euro-Atlantic integration processes.
