ONE-DAY SEMINAR ON DEMOCRACY AND THE ASSEMBLY FOR HIGH-SCHOOL STUDENTS
On 20 March, students of the Youth Educational Forum took part in a one-day education seminar dubbed “Democracy and the Assembly”.
The purpose of the seminar was to bring the work of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia closer to the youth population which will contribute to the development of their awareness of the benefits of democracy.
The one-day seminar was attended by a delegation of the parliamentary service of the Swiss Confederation so as to exchange experiences and to present activities concerning education of communication.
The participants were presented with a certificate of attendance by the head of the Parliamentary Institute Zlatko Atanasov.
Students participating in the seminar had the opportunity to go on an organised tour and see the most notable halls of the Assembly building as an important landmark of Macedonian statehood.
