Legislative Committee The Legislative Committee has a Chairperson and twelve members, elected among Representatives in the Assembly and four members - scientists and experts.
The Committee considers questions regarding:
-alignment of laws and other acts with the Constitution and with the legal system, as well as their legal and technical drafting;
-requests for authentic interpretation and preparation of proposals for authentic interpretation of laws;
-legislative activity and building of the legal system of the Republic;
-determining the final text of the laws and other acts, if authorized by law or other act;
-corrigenda to a published text of law or other act on the basis of the authentic text of the adopted law, or other act of the Assembly, and
-other questions regarding the legislative activity and building of the legal system of the Republic of Macedonia.
