Meeting of the Committee on Political System and Inter – Ethnic Relations
The Committee on Political System and Inter – Ethnic Relations had a meeting with the Delegation of the Committee on International Relations of the House of Representatives of the British Parliament, comprised of: Baroness Jean Elizabeth Coussins and Lord Bruce Joseph Grocott.
The Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Hari Lokvenec welcomed the guests and informed them on the composition and the competences of the Committee.
The focus of the discussion was the multiethnic character of the Republic of Macedonia and the efforts for promotion of the inter – ethnic relations in the state, as well as the accession process of the Republic of Macedonia to the European Union.
The meeting was evaluated as positive and both sides expressed hope that these meetings will continue in the future, enabling opportunities for exchange of opinions and policy experience.
