Meeting of the President Xhaferi and the Argentinean Ambassador Trueba
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi met the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Argentinean Republic to the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Alberto Alfredo Manuel Trueba.
Mr. Rexhail Ismaili, Member of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliaments of the Latin America and the Caribbean attended the meeting, The interlocutors agreed that the establishment and development of the parliamentary cooperation can trace the path for many other institutions of both states and that it will motivate the Governments to intensify the economic cooperation.
The President Xhaferi underlined that the establishment of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliaments of the Latin America and the Caribbean confirms our interest for establishing, cherishing and deepening the parliamentary diplomacy with the states of this region.
Ambassador Trueba informed that Argentina, as third economy and influential state in Latin America considers the Republic of Macedonia a friendly state and is interested in the development of closer bilateral relations in many areas. Underlining the export and the investments as priorities of the Argentinean economy, Mr. Trueba underlined that the focus will be on identification of other areas of interest.
The Program for translation of the Argentinean literature to Macedonian language was underlined by the Ambassador as an area of cooperation he is particularly proud of.
Both sides expressed preparedness to invest efforts for intensification of the parliamentary cooperation on all levels and deepen the friendly relations between the Republic of Macedonia and the Argentinean Republic, both on bilateral and on multilateral level.
