Visit of the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia to Municipality Pustec
In the framework of the Official visit of the Delegation headed by the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, a visit of the Municipality Pustec was realized.
The President Xhaferi was welcomed by the Deputy Chairman of the Municipality, Mr. Andon Jani, the Deputy Chair of Korcha County, Ms. Ana Verushi and the Members of the Council of Pustec Municipality.
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia expressed pleasure from the opportunity to visit the Municipality Pustec and underlined the need for extension of the cross border cooperation, as a potential resource for the development of the infrastructure, economy and tourism. Also, the President Xhaferi underlined that the ethnic communities are the bridge of connection of two states and contribute in the friendly relations between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Albania.
The positive efforts from the two states in direction of creating a positive climate for deeper cooperation in the areas of mutual interest were underlined at the meeting. A positive example thereof is the recent joint Session of the Governments of the two states, as well as the intensification of the reciprocal high level visits.
At the end of the meeting, it was emphasized that Municipality of Pustec is part of the Prespa national park, which together with the region is a natural pearl and treasure with great potential, which should be protected, preserved and promoted by the three neighbors: the Republic of Macedonia, the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Greece.
