Today, we are gathered on the occasion which saddened all of us who were fortunate to live in the time when the national hero, the symbol of the national resistance, the guide and the voice of the national awareness, protector of the rights and freedoms of the non Albanian minorities, lover of freedom and nation, visionary and writer, Adem Demaçi .

Meeting of the President Xhaferi and the European Commissioner Hahn  

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi met Mr. Johannes Hahn is an Austrian politician who has served as European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, whose visit to the Republic of Macedonia initiates the screening process of the European Union on the level of harmonization of the national legislation with the Acquis Communautaire.

The Meeting of the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi and the Ombudsman of the Republic of Turkey. Mr. Sheref Malkoc was friendly and sincere. The interlocutors exchanged opinions for many areas of cooperation. The MP and Chair of the Parliamentary Group for Cooperation with the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Enes Ibrahim attended the meeting.

The Official Visit of the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi and the members of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Assembly of the Republic of Serbia continued according to the program and several additional meetings were realised.

The conclusion of the meeting was that the development of the bilateral relations, regional and multilateral cooperation are on satisfactory level and that the intensification of the reciprocal visits on various levels is evident
