ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF NORTH MACEDONIA

Committee on Rules of Procedure, and Mandatory-Immunity Issues

The Committee on Rules of Procedure and Mandatory and Immunity Issues has Chairperson and eight members from among the members of parliament of the Assembly and three members - scientists and experts.

The Committee:

- follows the implementation of theRules of Procedure of the Assembly and rules of procedure of the working bodies and gives opinions on solutions to disputable questions;

- considers initiatives for amendments to the rules of procedure;

- gives initiatives for amendments and alterations to the rules of procedure;

- considers the report by the National Election Committee on election results and submits a report to the Assembly, suggesting verification of the mandates;

- considers reasons for termination of an MP’s mandate and submits to the Assembly a report on that issue;

- considers questions regarding immunity of the MPs, judges and the public prosecutor and his/her deputies, and

- considers other questions regarding the mandatory and immunity rights.
