Meeting of the Delegation of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia with Senator George Voinovich, and with Congressmen Mark Sauder, Harry Mitchell and Robert Aderholt

At the meeting of the Delegation from the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, consisted of the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski, and the Vice-President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Jani Makraduli with Senator George Voinovich, the Senator welcomed the progress of the Republic of Macedonia, as well as its commitment on the path towards Euro-Atlantic Integrations.

Both sides shared the opinion that the stability of the Region and the integration of the Balkan countries in the Euro-Atlantic structures should be supported by everyone, because this is an important issue for the countries, for the Region, but also for Europe and the world in general. 

Senator Voinovich encouraged Macedonia in its efforts for finding a mutually acceptable solution for the name issue with Greece, saying that this would eliminate the only obstacle in the process of EU and NATO Integration of the Republic of Macedonia and it will be a great benefit for the Region in general. 

The Macedonian Delegation had a working lunch with Congressmen Mark Sauder, Harry Mitchell and Robert Aderholt. The Congressmen said that they are encouraged by the progress of the Republic of Macedonia and expressed their full support for our country in its aspirations for Euro-Atlantic Integration.
