MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA, MR. TRAJKO VELJANOSKI WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE VLACH COMMUNITY
President Veljanoski received a delegation of the Vlach League and Vlach Culture Union in the Republic of Macedonia.
The guests spoke about their activities aimed at promoting the cultural, social and political status of the Vlachs in the country. They expressed belief that broader representation of the smaller ethnic communities is needed in the Assembly, which will ensure larger number of representatives of the Vlach community.
The President Veljanoski invited the guests to submit their proposals to the Assembly, which will be then forwarded to the MPs. and said that this and other issues should also be discussed with the MPs of this ethnic community.
On behalf of the Assembly, President Veljanoski expressed readiness for cooperation within the Assembly's competence.
