The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski attended the address of the German Chancellor, Ms. Angela Merkel in the US Congress, and had a meeting with the Speaker of the House of Representatives Ms. Nancy Pelosi
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski had a rare opportunity to attend the address of the German Chancellor, Ms. Angela Merkel in the US Congress.
During the opening of the World E-Parliament Conference 2009, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia Mr. Trajko Veljanoski had a meeting with the Speaker of the US House of Representatives Ms. Nancy Pelosi, who, in honour of the Presidents of the Parliaments - participants at the Conference, organized a reception in her Cabinet.
“I receive this present on behalf of the citizens of the USA” said Ms. Pelosi, receiving the present from the Macedonian Delegation, replica of a golden necklace from the 6th century, found in Trebenishta, Ohrid.
