REVIEW OF THE DRAFT-LAW ON AMENDING THE LAW ON CHILD PROTECTION
The Members of the Committee pointed out that with the adoption of this Law, one vulnerable category such as the children will be legally protected, and that for this purpose finances have been allocated in the State Budget.
The MPs expressed their satisfaction from the proposed solutions in the Law, primarily concerning the incorporation of the Decision of the Constitutional Court that secures equal right concerning the financial supplement for the parents on the whole territory of the Republic of Macedonia, regardless of ethnic origin, which was not the case with the previous solution in the Law.
The Committee concluded unanimously that the Draft-law on Amending the Law on Child Protection is acceptable for further reading from the aspect of its harmonization with the EU legislation.
