FIRST official meeting of the PARLIAMENTARY group for cooperation of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia with the parliament of the republic of kosovo
The Chairman of the Parliamentary Group for Cooperation of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia with the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Ilija Kitanoski had a meeting with Mr. Skender Durmishi, Acting Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to the Republic of Macedonia. The members of the Parliamentary Group, Ms. Silvana Boneva, Mr. Jani Makraduli, Mr. Abedin Zumberi, Mr. Safet Neziri, Mr. Xhemail Jashari and Ms. Roza Topuzova- Karevska attended the meeting.
This was the first official meeting of the Parliamentary Group for Cooperation of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia with the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo.
“Allow me, on my behalf and on behalf of the Group for Cooperation, to congratulate you the beginning of the work of the new Embassy and your nomination as first Acting Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to the Republic of Macedonia and to wish you successful work” underlined the Chairman, Mr. Ilija Kitanoski in the introductory address.
Mr. Durmishi greeted the present participants and the Members of the Parliamentary Group for Cooperation and expressed gratitude for the initiative for establishment of this parliamentary group. He also underlined that this cooperation is very important step for the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Kosovo, which confirms the good cooperation between these two countries at the moment and in the future.
The relations between these two courtiers are characterized with a high degree of economic and trade cooperation, cooperation in the area of sports, culture, tourism, underlining the importance of the peace and stability in the region and the fact that these two states do not have open issues is very important.
Finally, the present Members expressed hope that this kind of institutional cooperation will continue and will contribute in the promotion of the communication between these two states, in the opening of all important issues and development of the overall cooperation in every area.
