meeting of Mr. Rafis Aliti and the Former Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Ylli Bufi
The Vice President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Rafis Aliti had a meeting with the Former Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Ylli Bufi. The Vice President informed the Prime Minister on the constitution, activities and the work of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.
Mr. Xhemail Jashari, Mr. Talat Xhaferi, Mr. Tahir Hani, Ms. Julieta Marku, Mr. Hisen Xhemaili and Mr Xhevat Ademi welcomed the Prime Minister as well.
Mr. Aliti underlined the achieved progress of this mandate of the Assembly during which the Department for Translation in Albanian language was established. He underlined that the plenary sessions are simultaneously translated in Albanian and the Albanian Mps have an opportunity to receive materials in Albanian language.
Regarding the Ohrid Framework Agreement, the Former Prime Minister of Albania underlined that it is an ongoing process, which cannot be implemented instantly. The Vice President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia stated that there are obvious differences after the OFA, but that there are also certain things which need to be done.
Both sides agreed that that the standard Albanian language needs to be used in the interpretation from Macedonian into Albanian without grammar mistakes.
In the framework of his visit the Prime Minister gave books to the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and visited the Memorial house of Mother Teresa.
