Friday, 12 November 2010 THE MPS KATERINA DIMESKA AND LILJANA ZATURSKA PARTICIPATED ON IN THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON WOMEN IN ISTANBUL 
The Coordinator of the Women’s Parliamentarian Club, Ms. Katerina Dimeska and Ms. Liljana Zaturoska, Member of the of the Committee for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men, participated in the International Conference on Women (Women of Istanbul) in Istanbul, Turkey.
The Conference, held on 5 and 6 November 2010, was in the framework of Istanbul- City of Culture 2010, in cooperation with ICAM and was supported by the Promotional Fund of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey.
The aim of the Conference was to articulate women issues from different aspects: women and employment, family violence, cities for women, the role of the policies for improvement of the women issues.
Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of Turkey and Ms. Diana Wallis, Vice- president of the European Parliament addressed on the Conference.
Ms Daniela Dimitrievska from the Women Lobby and Ms Savka Todorovska from the National Council of Women participated in this Conference as well.
