Meeting of the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr Trajko Veljanoski and the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Montenegro, H.E. Dushan Mrdojevik                     
                          
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr Trajko Veljanoski welcomed the newly appointed and plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Montenegro to the Republic of Macedonia, H.E. Dushan Mrdojevik

On the meeting, the President Veljanoski underlined the current friendly relations between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Montenegro and expressed his hope that this intensified cooperation will continue in the future. He also underlined the parliamentary cooperation between the two states and the importance of the Euro-Atlantic integration of the Region, which will benefit the development of the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Montenegro.  

The newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Montenegro to the Republic of Macedonia, H.E. Dushan Mrdojevik expressed his pleasure from the meeting and seized the opportunity to convey the good wishes from his counterpart, the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr. Ranko Krivokapik 

Mr. Mrdojevik underlined the importance of the Euro-Atlantic integration and empathised that sharing the experience from the Republic of Macedonia as a candidate state for membership in EU is very important for the Republic of Montenegro. 

The Ambassador Dushan Mrdojevik especially emphasised the need of larger economic cooperation considering the economic potential of both states.
