Meeting of the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski with Lord George Foulkes from the House of Lords of the United Kingdom Parliament, and Mr. Mark Versallion, Member of the Conservative Party 

In the framework of the activities for realization of the joint project of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski, had a cordial meeting with Lord George Foulkes, Member of the House of Lords of the UK Parliament, and Mr. Mark Versallion, Treasurer of the Foreign Affairs Forum of the Conservative Party. They exchanged opinions on the realization of the joint project of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy for strengthening the overall capacities of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and agenda of the joint activities for the future period. Both sides expressed their pleasure with the results of this project.

Lord Foulkes has been a Member of the British Parliament for 26 years. Since 2007 he is a Member of the Intelligence and Security Committee of the House of Lords, and in May 2007 he was elected as Member of Parliament of the Scottish Parliament for the Lothian region, and Member of the Public Accounts Committee.
