Seminar on Accession to Fundamental rights in the European Union in view of the accession of the Union to the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms
The Seminar on Accession to Fundamental rights in the European Union in view of the accession of the Union to the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms is held in Madrid from 2 to 3 February.
The seminar is organised by the Spanish Presidency of the European Union and the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights.
The participants will discuss EU accession to the Convention, the potential benefits for people of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, and the protection of fundamental rights before the European Court of Human Rights and the European Court of Justice.
