MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT VELJANOSKI AND THE PARLIAMENTARY GROUP OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF KUWAIT FOR FRIENDSHIP WITH THE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski had a meeting with the Parliamentary Group of the National Assembly of Kuwait for Friendship with the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, comprised of: Mr. Valid M. Al- Tabtabae, Chair of the Group and MP, Mr. Jaman Al-Harbash, Deputy Chair of the Group and MP, Mr. Mohamed Al Mutairi, Member of the Group and MP.
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski, welcoming the guests, underlined that the two states cherish the friendly relations and cooperation in every area. The President Veljanoski underlined that the two states would work to provide impetus and opening possibilities for deepening the economic cooperation, as well as cooperation on parliamentary level and all areas of mutual interests.
The guests expressed their pleasure for the sincere welcoming of the President Veljanoski and underlined that Kuwait is prepared to invest in the Republic of Macedonia, especially on the area of energy and infrastructure. The liberalization of the visa regime for the citizens and the companies of Kuwait are especially important, as well as opening diplomatic and consular representations in both countries. Aside of the aforementioned, there are excellent possibilities for investment in farming and agriculture in the Republic of Macedonia.
The guests underlined that the relations between these two countries exist for a long period, especially because the most famous objects in Kuwait- the buildings, the ministry and the airport were built by Macedonian companies, which facilitates the path for the Macedonian companies which would develop their business in Kuwait.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Al Tabtabae handed the invitation for the official visit of Kuwait and the National Assembly of Kuwait, Mr. Adnan S.A. Samad to the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski.
