40TH MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE ON DEFENCE AND SECURITY
The Committee on Defence and Security of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia on its 40th meeting, held on 1 March 2011, reviewed the following Draft- laws:
- Draft-law Amending the Law on Safety in the Road Traffic- II reading
- Draft-law Amending the Law on Defence- II reading
- Draft-law Amending the Law on Crisis Management – II reading
- Draft-law Amending the Law on Interior Affairs- II reading
The Committee reviewed one Amendment to the Draft-law Amending the Law on Safety in the Road Traffic, but did not adopt it. The Committee concluded that this Draft-law is acceptable and should proceed in further procedure in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.
Regarding the Draft-law Amending the Law on Defence, the Deputy minister on Defence and Security adapted the proposed amendment. The Committee concluded that the Draft-law, with amendments, Amending the Law on Defence should be drafted.
The amendment to the Draft-law Amending the Law on Crisis Management was withdrawn. The Committee concluded that this Draft-law is acceptable and should proceed in further procedure in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.
The Committee on Defence and Security reviewed the Amendment to the Draft-law Amending the Law on Interior Affairs, but did not adopt it. The Committee concluded that this Draft-law is acceptable and should proceed in further procedure in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.
