THE MPS ANDREJ ZERNOVSKI PARTICIPATES IN THE MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE ON MIGRATION, REFUGEES AND POPULATION IN THE PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY OF THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE
The MP, Mr. Andrej Zernovski, as a vice-chair, participated in the Meting of the Committee on Migration, Refugees and Population of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, held in Brussels on 15th and 16th March 2011. Several debates were held in the framework of the Committee.
Mr. Zernovski was one of the panellists in the debate on Impact on the Migrants and Asylum Seekers in the member countries of the Council of Europe.
At the meeting, Mr. Andrej Zernovski was a reporter on “Illicit trafficking for forced migrant employment". All European countries are facing this problem, given that this form of criminal activity is the third on the list of problems, after trafficking of narcotics and weapons.
This is the second time for Mr. Andrej Zernovski to be elected as a rapporteur on behalf of the Migration, Refugees and Population of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe which is an acknowledgement for his previous active engagement.
