PROTOCOL MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT VELJANOSKI AND THE NEWLY APPOINTED AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF HUNGARY TO THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA 

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski had a meeting with the Newly Appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary to the Republic of Macedonia, H.E. József Bencze. 

The Ambassador Bencze expressed his pleasure from the highly developed bilateral relations and underlined that there are no open issues between the two friendly countries and underlined that the relations are characterised with a good cooperation in the area of education, economy and science. 

The President Veljanoski welcomed the fact that the Republic of Hungary is one of the biggest investors in our country and underlined the future cooperation in the area of economy. The interlocutors expressed their conviction that the Republic of Macedonia will become Member Sate of the European Union, which will additionally contribute to the regional stability and security. The President underlined that the Republic of Macedonia, beside the fact that it is not a Member of NATO, takes all the obligations as the Full-fledged Members of NATO. The President Veljanoski welcomed the good relations between the two parliaments, reminding of the ratified Memorandum of Cooperation between the two parliaments during his official visit to Hungary in 2008. 

One of the topics of the meeting was the participation of the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski on the Fifth Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of the Countries of the Western Balkan, which will be held on 12 October in Budapest. 

The interlocutors expressed their preparedness for deepening the cooperation between the parliaments of these two states as an impetus for cooperation between the business community and the citizens.
