DONATION FROM THE CHINA'S NATIONAL PEOPLES CONGRESS FOR THE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia Mr. Trajko Veljanoski and the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Macedonia H.E. Mr. Cui Zhiwei today attended the plaque unveiling ceremony in acknowledgement of the donation of information technology, audio and video equipment from the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China for the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.
Ms. Svetlana Jakimovska - Vice President of the Assembly, Ms. Silvana Boneva - Chairperson of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliament of the People’s Republic of China, members of the Parliamentary Group and of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Macedonia participated at the ceremony.
President Veljanoski expressed appreciation for the donation which confirms the good and friendly relations between the parliaments of the two countries.
He said that the relations between the two Parliaments have been intensified in the last several years and that the Macedonian parliamentarians welcome the increased cooperation with their colleagues from the National People’s Congress.
Ambassador Cui Zhiwei expressed his satisfaction from the possibility to attend the plaque unveiling ceremony, adding that the People’s Republic of China regards this donation as cooperation between true friends.
He also expressed his conviction that the relations between the two countries will continue to grow, and presented the invitation from the People’s National Congress to President Veljanoski and the members of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Chinese Parliament to visit the People’s Republic of China.
