MACEDONIA AND INDIA - FRIENDLY COUNTRIES WITH SUCCESSFUL COOPERATION
The Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia Mr. Antonijo Milošoski met with the Minister of State for External Affairs of India Ms. Preneet Kaur. Ms. Kaur is the first high level official from India to visit Macedonia.
Mr. Milošoski welcomed the guests and expressed appreciation to the authorities of India for recognizing the Republic of Macedonia under its constitutional name. He also pointed out the possibilities for investment in our country.
Madam Kaur expressed gratitude for the hospitality and emphasized the good cooperation between the two countries in several areas and the excellent relations with the Macedonian embassy in New Delhi.
One of the topics of discussion was international terrorism as a global problem, and Mr. Milošoski reiterated Macedonia’s support to India in this field, as well as in the international organization.
Emphasizing the intensification of the relations between the two countries in the last several years, both sides expressed conviction that in future the cooperation will be even more successful.
