Meetingof the President Veljanoski with Mr. Stephen Jones, MP for Throsby, Australiaand Chairman of the Australian-Macedonian Group for cooperation
The President of theAssembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski expressed hisappreciation for the meeting and underlined the positive impressions from therecent official visit to Australia. The President Veljanoski underlined thatthese meetings will improve the bilateral relations with friendly Australia,which demonstrate constant positive tendency.
One of the points ofdiscussion was the Macedonian Community in Australia and Mr. Jones expressed appreciationfor its loyalty and contribution in the social life of Australia. He underlinedthat many Macedonian citizens live in his electorate.
Another point ofdiscussion was the facilitation of the visa regime for the Macedonian citizens,which is important for the families and relatives living in the Republic ofMacedonia.
The interlocutors referredto the possibilities for broadening the cooperation between the Republic ofMacedonia and Australia in the area of economy.
