THE PRESIDENT VELJANOSKI ATTENDED THE CEREMONY ATTENDED THE CEREMONIAL FUNERAL OF THE FORMER PRIME MINISTER OF GREAT BRITAIN, MARGARET THATCHER 

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski attended the ceremonial funeral of the former Prime Minister of Great Britain, The Right Honourable the Baroness Thatcher. 

The Central Service was in the St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.

The Queen Elizabeth, the Prime Minister David Cameron, several present President and Prime Ministers, as well as more than 2000 high political officials paid respect to Baroness Thatcher. 

This is the first funeral of a Prime Minister the Queen is attending after the funeral of Sir Winston Churchill in 1965.  

The president Veljanoski also attended the reception at the Mansion House in London. 

The President Veljanoski had brief meeting with the Prime Minister of Britain, Mr. David Cameron; the Former Prime Minister, Mr. John Major; the former Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. Steven Harper; the current Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Sali Berisha and other state representatives.
