MEETING OF MR. RAFIS ALITI WITH MR. ALFRET PEZA AND GROUP OF MEMBERS OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA
The Vice President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Rafis Aliti welcomed the delegation from the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, headed by Mr. Alfret Peza and expressed appreciation for the meeting, as well as wish for further cooperation.
The Vice President Aliti informed the delegation on the current affairs and referred to the exchange of parliamentary experience in both states.
The excellent cooperation and the intensification of the parliamentary cooperation between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Albania were underlined. Interlocutors called the opposition MPs to return to the Assembly and stated that it is beneficial the democratic debate to be held in the Assembly.
The meeting referred to the Albanian community in the Republic of Macedonia and its positive social and economic activity, as well as to the European integration of the Republic of Macedonia, as its priority goal.
Furthermore, the positive bilateral cooperation was underlined and its was concluded that the further strengthening thereof is in the interest of both states.
In the context of the good neighbourly relations, the Delegation of the Republic of Albania confirmed the support for the Membership of Macedonia in NATO.
The Vice President Aliti expressed appreciation expressed appreciation to his colleagues’ support in regard with the European integration and the integration in NATO, whose member is Albania.
