MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT VELJANOSKI AND DIPLOMATIC REPRESENTATIVES
Today the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski had a meeting with the Heads of the Diplomatic and Consular Branch Offices and Missions of the Republic of Macedonia abroad. The Meeting was held in the Ministry on Foreign Affairs.
The Vice President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and Chair of the Foreign Policy Committee, Mr. Antonijo Miloshoski, as well as the Co – Chair of the Joint Parliamentary Committee the Republic of Macedonia and the European Union, Mr. Kenan Hasipi attended the meeting.
The President Veljanoski informed the attendees on the developments and the work of the Assembly, as well as the planned activities. Expressing appreciation for the engagement and cooperation with the diplomatic representatives thus far, he expressed his personal preparedness, as well the preparedness and openness of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for affirmation and intensification of the inter – parliamentary cooperation, especially on the level of parliamentary groups of cooperation.
The meeting referred to the European and the Euro Atlantic Integration of the Republic of Macedonia, as highest strategic and political priority, as well as to the significant role of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia in these processes.
Macedonian diplomats informed the attendees on the current affairs in the states and mission where there they represent our state and its interest to , as well as the possibilities for improvement and deepening of the relations on all levels, aiming to strengthen the position of the Republic of Macedonia in international and political area.
