THE PRESIDENT VELJANOSKI WELCOMED THE NEWLY APPOINTED, EXTRAORDINARY AND PLENIPOTENTIARY AMBASSADOR OF THE STATE OF ISRAEL TO THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA LOCATED IN JERUSALEM  

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski had a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Dan Oryan. The President welcomed the Ambassador and wished him successful work.

The Ambassador Oryan expressed gratification from his first appointment as Ambassador to the Republic of Macedonia in particular.

The President Veljanoski expressed his preparedness for support, expressing pleasure from his successful visit to Israel in 2010 when his host was Reuven Rivlin, former Speaker of the Knesset and current President of the State of Israel.

The President Veljanoski underlined the efforts for intensification of the contacts on the level of Speakers, but also on the level of Parliamentary Groups for Cooperation and MPs, as well as personal pleasure to welcome delegations from the State of Israel to the Republic of Macedonia. Ambassador Oryan agreed and expressed wish for deepening the cooperation between the two states in the areas of mutual interest such as education, energy and environment, as addition to the state and parliamentary cooperation.

The interlocutors agreed that there is great potential for cooperation as well as that the two states cherish friendly relations, expressing will to continue these relations in the future.
