THE PRESIDENT VELJANOSKI MET THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MEDIA

The President Veljanoski had a meeting with the representatives of the media and informed the attendees on the work of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia during 2013, for the number of Plenary Sessions held in this period; number of adopted laws and other acts; amendments; Meetings of the Working Bodies; data for the attendance of the public in the work of the Assembly- all this is contained in the Report on the Work of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for 2013. 

The President Veljanoski also informed the journalists on the current work of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and the planned Plenary Sessions. 

At the meeting, the attendees were informed that in direction of the presence of the popular social media, and better information to the users on the activities of the Assembly, official sites of the Assembly will be launched at the social media Facebook and Twitter. 

Initially the profiles will be  managed by the employees of the Information Department, and within short period of time they will be connected with the E-Parliament and the Assembly web page, which will provide automated update of the data and the content.
The following content available at the web site of the Assembly will become more available to the social media users: Agenda of the Assembly and the Working Bodies, international and other activities of the MPs and the Assembly Staff.
