MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT VELJANOSKI AND MR. OWEN JENKINS
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski had a meeting with the Director and Head of Department on Western Balkans and Enlargement from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Mr. Owen Jenkins. The Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Mr. Charles Garret attended the meeting as well.
The President Veljanoski underlined the aspiration of the Republic of Macedonia to the European integration, stating that with the integration of the Western Balkan, Europe will have its whole image.
The extraordinary cooperation with the Embassy of Great Britain and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, which resulted with excellent projects, was underlined.
Mr. Jenkins expressed appreciation for the Meeting and underlined that Western Balkan is priority for Great Britain.
The meeting referred to current affairs, good cooperation and friendly relations, as well as efforts for continuation of these relations in positive direction.
