PRESIDENT XHAFERI MET WITH THE WINNERS OF THE SIMULATION “I HAVE A POSITION”
Today, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi had a meeting with students and their teacher from "Koco Racin" High School - Veles, who won of the online competition "I have a position" - a simulation of the process of reviewing bills in the Assembly, which saw the participation of 10 schools from different cities.
The meeting was marked by a direct conversation, full of exchange of information, the curiosity of the young winners and the president's desire to impart knowledge and life wisdom.
First, the President congratulated the success of Marko Ingilizov, Matea Nestorova and Emili Mitrevska, led by Professor Milka Petrovski, who left the positive impression of bright, educated and hardworking young people.
The President emphasized the importance of education and how it should form them as individuals, as well as that their desire for knowledge should be great and above all for the purpose of personal progress.
He said that the practical experience they gained on this occasion will contribute a lot, because they will get a clearer picture of the work of the Assembly and the legislative processes.
Expressing his regret over the effect of life in a pandemic on young people in the last year, the President expressed optimistic views on overcoming this situation, and thus the return of greater freedom of movement of young people. He also stressed that the past pandemic year should serve as a lesson for the challenges that life can bring.
The President conveyed to the youth that they should look further in their behavior, plan their lives and invest in that plan, be practical and follow their desires and their vision for themselves. To love learning and work, because only then will their qualities be recognized.
The young winners had interesting questions for President Xhaferi in the field of work of the Assembly, the way he makes decisions on the work 
of the Assembly, certain issues of the Rules of Procedure; they were interested in what his working day looks like, and they also showed interest for the young Talat Xhaferi and what was his life path that brought him to the position of President of the Assembly, as well as what are his visions for the future.
With wishes for progress, many successes and the opportunity to see some of these young people in the parliamentary seats one day, the President wished them good luck.
