STATEMENT FROM THE MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT XHAFERI WITH THE AMERICAN CONGRESSMAN ROBERT PITTENGER

In the framework of the participation in the International Intelligence Security Forum in Riga, the President of the Assembly of Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi today held a meeting with Mr. Robert Pittenger, American congressman and the Chairman of the Working Group on terrorism and unconventional warfare and the initiator of this Forum.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA MET WITH THE ITALIAN AMBASSADOR ROMEO 

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Xhaferi today held a meeting with the Italian Ambassador to the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Carlo Romeo. At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador Romeo expressed his gratitude to the President of the Assembly, Mr. Xhaferi for the opportunity to exchange opinions and experiences for cooperation and also congratulated the election of Mr. Talat Xhaferi as the President of the Assembly of Republic of Macedonia while underlining that one of the reasons for today's visit is to bring the congratulation letter sent by the President of the Italian Senate.

President Xhaferi met with the Dutch ambassador Plomp 

The President of the Parliament of the Republic, Mr. Talat Xhaferi met with the Ambassador of Kingdom of Netherland in Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Willem Wouter Plomp. After the expressed congratulations on the election for the function and the election of the new Government, ambassador Plomp conveyed the message about the readiness of the Dutch Government and concretely the Parliament about the wide cooperation with the institutions of Republic of Macedonia and the continuance of the already started projects between the two states.

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi held a meeting with the co-rapporteurs of the Committee on the Honoring the obligations and commitments of the member countries upon admission in the Council of Europe, Mrs. Lise Christoffersen, Member of the Parliament from Norway, and Mr. Valeriu Ghiletchi , member of the Parliament from Moldova, who within the framework of post - monitoring dialogue are in a two - day visit to the Republic of Macedonia.

Parliament Speaker Mr. Talat Xhaferi meets the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Mrs. Tulin Erkal Kara 

While congratulating the election of Mr. Talat Xhaferi as the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, the Ambassador, Mrs. Tulin Erkal Kara underlined that the events taking place in the Republic of Macedonia and the overcoming of the political crisis are closely followed by the Republic of Turkey without interfering in the internal affairs of the country.
