Address by President Xhaferi on the occasion of 25 years of diplomatic relations between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Republic of Macedonia

I am honored that we have gathered today to mark 25 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Republic of Macedonia, at this solemn but also working meeting.  We are talking about diplomatic relations with a state that is a cradle of parliamentary democracy, a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council and one of the most developed states economically.

Working meeting of the Women Parliamentarians' Club on the subject of "Juvenile Marriages"

The Women Parliamentarians' Club held a working meeting on the topic "Juvenile Marriages" yesterday. The event was organized in cooperation with the National Democratic Institute (NDI).  The working meeting was attended by women MPs from most of the parliamentary groups in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.

Review of the Draft Law amending the established Law on Animal Welfare and Protection 

The Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Management of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, at today's 17th meeting, as a competent working body, held a general review of the draft-law amending the established Animal Welfare and Protection Law submitted by the MPs: Maja Morachanin, Liljana Popovska, Nikica Korubin, Irena Stefoska, Ivana Tufegdzic, Mileva Gjorgieva, Shpresa Hadri, Mirsada Emini-Asani and Snezana Kaleska Vanceva.

Thirty-ninth Meeting of the Finances and Budget Committee

The Finances and Budget Committee of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, as a competent working body, at its 39th Meeting today reviewed a Draft Law, in a shortened procedure, on the guaranty of the Republic of Macedonia for the obligations under the Loan Agreement, intended for financing the project "Veteran park Velingrad Bogdanci-second phase", which will be signed between the Credit Bank for Reconstruction - KFW and AD ELEM.
