President Gramoz Ruci on official visit to the Republic of Macedonia

At the invitation of the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi, a Delegation headed by the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Gramoz Ruci, had an official visit to the Republic of Macedonia.  The President of the Assembly, Mr. Ruci, was welcomed with high state honors, and the first meeting of the official visit was held with the host, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi.

Let’s Europeanize the Balkans, not Balkanise Europe

The Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliament of the Republic of Albania had a meeting with the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, Gramoz Ruci.MP Beti Rabadzievska-Naumovska, expressed her contentment and appreciation, on behalf of the Parliamentary Group, for the unreserved support from the friendly, neighbouring and NATO member state.

President Xhaferi’s address at the commemorative Meeting on the occasion of the death of Ljubisa Georgievski, former President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia

Allow me, on behalf of my fellow MPs in the legislature, as well as personally, to express my deep condolences upon the departure of our former colleague MP and President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Ljubisa Georgievski. I call upon my fellow Members of Parliament,  and everyone else present today, to pay our respects with a moment of silence.

President Xhaferi meets with a delegation from the German Bundestag

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi, and the Secretary General of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Ms. Cvetanka Ivanova, had a meeting today with the members of the Committee from the German Bundestag for selection of scholars from the Republic of Macedonia for the IPS program. The meeting was attended by the German MP, Mr. Stephan Albani and members of the Committee, Dr. Andreas Trampe of the Bundestag administration, and prof. Dr. Elmar Kulke, Dean of the Humboldt University of Berlin.

Parliamentary delegation at a meeting with MEPs

The delegation of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, composed of Ejup Alimi, Meri Lazarova and Nikola Micevski, who had been on a two-day working visit to Brussels, met with the rapporteur of the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs for the Republic of Macedonia, Ivo Vajgl, as well as the MEPs: Knut Fleckenstein, Eduard Kukan, Alojz Peterle and Reinhard Bütikofer.
