FAREWELL MEETING OF PRESIDENT XHAFERI WITH THE CONSTITUTIONAL JUDGE MURATI 

Today, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia had a farewell meeting with the president of the Constitutional Court, Mr. Sali Murati. At the meeting was jointly concluded the good cooperation of the Assembly with the institution of the Constitutional Court.

MEETING OF PRESIDENT XHAFERI WITH THE OMBUDSMEN ZIBERI, BALLANCA AND QELAJ

Today, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, met with the ombudsmen of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Naser Ziberi; of the Republic of Albania, Ms. Erinda Ballanca and of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Naim Qelaj. He wished them a warm welcome in the legislature and referred to the key role of the Institution of Ombudsman, namely, the protection of human rights.

He reaffirmed the benefits of the excellent and friendly relations between the two countries, paying particular attention to parliamentary diplomacy in promoting bilateral and multilateral relations, political dialogue and the scaling of the overall cooperation between the two countries.

MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND H.E. TYCIŃSKI

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, H.E. Wojciech Tyciński. He wished him warm welcome at the very beginning and thanked him for the continuous support our country receives from the Republic of Poland in our Euro-Atlantic and European process.

MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND OMBUDSMAN ZIBERI  

Today, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi, met with the Ombudsman of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Naser Ziberi, on the occasion of the presentation of the 2020 Annual Report on the work of the Ombudsman of the Republic of North Macedonia. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Suzana Saliu, Deputy Ombudsman.

MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND MAZI

Xhaferi and Mazi agreed that North Macedonia and Albania share common foreign policy interests, within the EU and NATO and the regional cooperation, and a commitment to an overall development of the Western Balkans. There is no alternative for the countries in the region, their future is in the EU.

MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI WITH MINISTER METNAR

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, met today with the Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic, Mr. Ljubomir Metnar. At the meeting, President Xhaferi expressed gratitude for the continuous support that our country receives from the Czech Republic for our Euro-Atlantic and European integration.

PRESIDENT XHAFERI MET WITH THE WINNERS OF THE SIMULATION “I HAVE A POSITION”

Today, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi had a meeting with students and their teacher from "Koco Racin" High School - Veles, who won of the online competition "I have a position" - a simulation of the process of reviewing bills in the Assembly, which saw the participation of 10 schools from different cities.

MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ROMA COMMUNITY ON THE OCCASION OF APRIL 8 – INTERNATIONAL ROMANI DAY

On the occasion of April 8 - International Romani Day, President Xhaferi met with Latifa Shikovska, MP from the Roma community, Zoran Dimov, President of the International Roma Group, Ferat Asan, businessman from the municipality of Shuto Orizari and Muhamed Toci, representative of the NGO Moon - Gostivar. The coordinator of the parliamentary group of SDSM and the coalition, Jovan Mitreski, also attended the meeting. The day is even more important because it marks the 50th anniversary of the First World Romani Congress, as well as 20 years since the addition of the Romani in the Constitution of the Republic of North Macedonia.
